There are so many sources for immersing ourselves in Brigit
as we come up to her festival, but what is my first choice?
Pagan Portals - Brigid by Morgan Daimler. It is the best source for getting a clear
understanding of the goddess. (There are other great sources for the saint.)
My second choice is the sadly out of print Rites of Brigid,
Goddess and Saint by Seán Ó Duinn OSB.
And how did I not know there was an Irish language version of
that book, Gnas Na Feile Bride? Perhaps still less available than the
English.
Nevertheless, I will be dipping in to this one, as well, as the
month goes on.
